Nov 28 - Carrabelle

Early  morning departure today for Carrabelle where we have a slip at Moorings of Carrabelle Marina. The morning sunrise was great, and the water of the Apalachicola Bay was like glass.
The marina is up the Carrabelle River and is at the end of the bay right beside the town. Here we have caught up again with David and Susan on Serenity II, as well as many other Loopers. Carrabelle is the waiting position for a weather wind for  the 20 hour overnight crossing of the Gulf to Clearwater Florida.
The town is well equipped for restocking with an IGA grocer, ACE hardware and Dollar General.
There are a few restaurants and we had one night out at Fathoms, an oyster an raw bar. We also visited the museum and lunched at the Korean BBQ food stand.
Carrabelle is also home to the world's smallest police station.
