Dec 28/29 - Visitors

Veronica and Shawn have arrived Dec 28th for their Christmas break visit with us. Also coming along with them is the Young Family of Curtis, Andrea, Quinn and Kendall. The first nights visit we all went to the Dockside Restaurant for a great dinner out. The boat was busy with 8 aboard for the night.

First thing the next morning we headed out of the marina for Jewfish Key Sandbar, about a 2 hour cruise away from the Marina. Anchored out and dinghied everyone to the sand bar, which at that time was low tide and some sand about  a foot above water. We wandered about the sandbar picking up shells and sand dollars and waded about as the tide slowly rose, putting the entire sand bar about a foot underwater. Happy we were able to have the dolphins swim ahead of the boat a few times so everyone  got to see them.
